However, main eventer Park Sang Hyun (South Korea, MMA Story) was disqualified after failing to weigh in. His opponent, Takeshi Kunito (Japan, BURST), passed the weigh-in and advanced to the quarterfinals as per the rules.
Takeshi Kunito said, "I heard that Park Sang-hyun collapsed during the weigh-in. I wish him a speedy recovery. It's a shame because we prepared for this match with our lives, and we will prepare from now on to show a good performance in the next quarterfinals."
The bantamweight quarterfinal reserve match between Challenge League 02 mainstay Kim Jong-pil and Lee Jung-won was then moved up to the first match of Ring Championship 04.
All of the competitors passed the weigh-in except for Park Sang-hyun.
The remaining three spots in the bantamweight tournament will be contested by Kazakhstan's Bolet Zamanbekov, who has a 6-1 record, and Kugansaki's Moon Kook-hwan, who has a 2-3 record.
"The victory is mine anyway," said Moon, who will be the main eventer at Ring Championship 04. I hope Zamanbekov enjoys his visit to Korea," he said. Zamanbekov, who received the offer a week ago due to his opponent Hamidov's visa problems, said, "I didn't hesitate to ask to play in this tournament. I will bring the championship belt back to Kazakhstan," he said.
Also on the card is a bantamweight bout between Ling Kangseo MMA's Hwi Jae Lee and Energizer Yoo Min Shin. Lee has a 3-1 record and will be looking to avenge his teammate Top Gun Park Gun-woo's loss to Shin at Ring Championship 03 and then in the Challenge League, 카지노사이트 where he lost to Shin, who has won three straight.
Lastly, we have the match between Korean Bully "Kim Eun-seong" and SEND BACK "Son Geun-ho". Son defeated K-Wrestling's Choi Chang-ho on SBS Pure Fighter and also defeated his teammate Baek Seung-hwan in Challenge League 01 in February. Kim Eun-sung is looking to avenge his teammate's death.
Match 3 will see The Rush's Park Bo-hyun, the 2021 Double G Atomweight Champion, make his Korean return against Japanese fighter Aira Koga, who has a record of 5 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. Park, who is 4-2, is making his first return after more than a year of rehabilitation from an elbow injury that prevented him from competing at COMBATE GLOBAL in the United States, while Koga, who fought for DEEP and RIZIN, has been fighting for SHOOTO since 2022.
"Aira Koga said he wanted to fight hitter against hitter, so let's not run away from the fight after a few hits, but let's stick together," Park said. Aira Koga replied, "Thank you for inviting me to such a big stage. I will show you a fun match," he said.
All the competitors for Challenge League 02 and JRCC Korea Open have passed the weigh-in and are ready to go.
