The archery field at the Paris Olympics was moved to Jincheon Training Center.
The Korean Archery Association held a special match for the national team in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics at Jincheon Training Center for three days from the 7th.
In order to create an environment similar to the special stage to be set up in Paris's Anvalig Square, France, the association created a special set by reflecting 100 percent of the actual stadium bird's eye view. The Paris Olympic structure design was applied as it was to simulate the stadium and adapt to the media environment.
Large LED screens were installed on both sides of the target plate to set the stage at the level of international competitions, and players could check their current heart rates in real time through on-site screens.
In the first special match, three men and women participating in the Paris Olympics and the fourth to eighth place players in the final warm-up match of the national team competed. The association explained, "As we faced outstanding players who could win medals at any time in international competitions, we had a thrilling match that could not be relaxed."
The special set will be maintained at Jincheon National Training Center before participating in the Paris Olympics in July. The team will also hold the second special match for three days from July 2 before the Olympics.
"Through special matches, players can experience the actual stadium in advance, which is a great help," Hong Seung-jin, general manager, said. "Before participating in the Paris Olympics, I will do my best to enhance environmental adaptability and reduce psychological burden."
Meanwhile, the national archery team will move to Yecheon, North Gyeongsang Province on Saturday for a week-long training camp
